The Story

This is how the name Eliza Doolittl came about for me. I was talking to my friend, Chad, on the phone some Sunday. I was talking about how I hated going into alachat as Lily and how stupid it was. He was suggesting a bunch of crap that I didn't like, so I had to think. I suggested "Eliza Doolittle" because I thought it was cute. He said it was stupid and I said goodbye not too long after that. Now I use the name. Eliza Doolittle is a character in the movie, "My Fair Lady." Audrey Hepburn played Eliza. Eliza was taken from the streets to be turned into a real lady, by a man named Henry Higgins. Henry Higgins was played by Rex Harrison. Henry treated Eliza like trash and only as a project or as a bet. Eliza eventually fell in love with him the same night she could have danced all night. Henry turned her into a lady, and if you want to know the ending, rent the movie or read the book. Oh yeah! What I thought was VERY interesting was that a few years after "My Fair Lady," Rex Harrison played JOHN DOOLITTLE in the original movie, "Dr. Doolittle." Isn't that a coincidence? Plus for everyone out there, both Rex and Audrey are dead. =0(
